Wear the Shift is a Pittsburgh-based company dedicated to taking a bass-ackwards fashion industry and putting it frontways again.
Because, right now, fashion is designed for the profit and the convenience of the PRODUCERS of fashion, not to meet the needs and desires of those of us who actually WEAR CLOTHES. It's silly, wasteful, and offensive in its lack of elegance. (Read more about how far we have to go here.)

- By using THE POWER OF MATH to create custom sewing patterns. Nothing is sexier than smart-ass chicks in well-fitting outfits. Put your glasses on, too. Rowr!
- By making LOVELY, DELICIOUS, AND FUN custom garments for our clients. Fashion should and can be about having a laugh and feeling good.
- By showing folks how to SEW THEIR OWN. Give a girl a dress and she's cute for a day -- teach her how to sew and she's cute forever!
Whether you're DIYing, taking your custom pattern to a local craftsperson, or purchasing a garment from our shop, we want you to have a good time getting some clothes you love.
